This course uses literature to help students improve critical reading, critical thinking, independent research, and writing abilities. Students are introduced to literary criticism and receive the fundamental knowledge required for text analysis (including literary vocabulary and some literary theory); they improve their library and internet research skills; and they develop their reading and writing abilities. |
